On the go Letter Game

Image from What Did You Do Today?
This game from Dagney at What Did You Do Today caught my eye while wasting time browsing Pinterest. Although her idea is for a neighborhood walk, I thought it would be a great change from the normal Find the Letter game we play while driving. Her idea begins with a simple paper plate, cut around the edges to create flaps, and on each flap is a letter. This game I love because of two things:

1-We have varying ages in the van and when we play the Alphabet game (finding letters as fast as we can in order) the little one has a hard time keeping up. With each having their own "playing card"  it would be simple to give the younger children less (and only the more common) letters to find.

2- It's such a simple game that even if I didn't have it already on hand, I can always pick it up along the way. Or in a pinch just use a sheet of paper and tear tabs at the bottom. Instant and fun-and everyone could participate together on their own level.
Our travel version: Aidan (5) has 18 letters, Bryce (8) has all 26
